Most people want become recognized through their media, develop their stories, and get page views. If you've ever googled yourself as an online writer, you can find anything ever published. You may not know it but your name is in many places you're unaware of.
As well as online material with your name in bold print underneath, your not-so professional posts
(I.E. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, etc) can be viewed by basically anyone. These posts are able to be reviewed and used as repercussions to college applicants. Anything viewed by these college professors and is viewed as negative can work against them. The fact that these professors are looking into the personal lives of the students is not necessarily fair. Their social life on social media has a connection and is meant to belong there. Nowhere around school.
To become recognized in a positive way? create professional social media accounts, produce multiple media stories, and use many websites frequently visited. If journalism is something you consider majoring in in college, these professors need to see your early experiences as a journalist. always produce positive content. Whether you like it or not, they could be viewing your page.r

Journalism Life
Journalism is a place to display ones creative writing and love for media, whether it is in front of the camera or behind the computer on a keyboard.
As a journalistic writer in high school, you have to have a consistent work ethic. If you are not up to up to date and relevant with current events, it is no longer news, only a story. Part of having a consistent work ethic is making taking the extra mile to make it to events, whether it is sports, educational, or weather. These stories have to have great substance, by making it to an event and typing is only have the battle. The talented side takes place when writing the story. Part of journalistic flow is linking your readers to the story and putting your own voice into it.
I've learned it requires more effort and a greater thought process to create quality work for the public. Some audiences don't realize what journalists go through to bring them stories and news. It also requires the writer to be objective to all opinions and point of views. You cannot have a bias point of view no matter your preference on sport, team, or school.
As a journlaistic student, I have made strides as a writer that has put me above my peers as writers. Writing lets you express yourself or at least voice your opinion. Writing and expressing is a feeling that not many can relate to and a love for it. It requires creative flows that are unmatchable.
